Ingredients:

  • 2 cups gluten-free all-purpose flour (with xanthan gum included)
  • 1 tablespoon instant yeast
  • 1 teaspoon salt

  • 2 tablespoons oil or melted unsalted butter
  • 1 teaspoon cider vinegar or lemon juice

  2. Add the warm water, olive oil/butter, and cider vinegar/lemon juice to the dry ingredients. Stir using a wooden spoon or a mixer with a paddle attachment until the ingredients are well combined. The dough will be wetter and stickier than traditional wheat bread dough.
  3. Transfer the dough to a greased 9×5 inch loaf pan and smooth the top with wet hands or a spatula.

  5. While the dough is rising, preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  6. Once the dough has risen, bake in the preheated oven for about 35-40 minutes, or until the bread is golden brown on top and sounds hollow when tapped.
  7. Remove the bread from the oven and let it cool in the pan for 10-15 minutes before transferring it to a wire rack to cool completely.
  8. Slice and enjoy your fresh homemade gluten-free bread!
