Ingredients:

  • 2 cups Schär Gluten-Free All-Purpose Flour Blend
  • 1 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 1/ tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 granulated sugar
    3/4 cup olive oil
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • Zest of 1 large orange
  • 1 cup warm water
  • 1/2 cup buttermilk or dairy-free alternative
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips (gluten-free)

For the Orange Glaze:

  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 2-3 tbsp fresh orange juice
  • Orange zest for garnish

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (180°C). Grease a 9-inch round cake pan and line with parchment paper.
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together Schär Flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt.
  3. In a large bowl, whisk the sugar and olive oil until well combined. Beat in the eggs, one at a time, followed by the vanilla extract and orange zest.
